Both Klaus Jacoby of Germany and the Norwegian Tore Magnussen were stylish counterpunchers. Magnussen shook Jacoby with a right in the 1st. He followed up with fast right hooks in the next round. The German came on strong in the last part of the fight. Magnussen received a small cut on the eyebrow in the 7th. He won the last round however when an uppercut stopped the desperate rushes from Jacoby.
