Tulip Turnseed was a colorful 1960s club-fighter, known more for his "persona" then for his boxing abilities.
Turnseed always entered the ring followed by a "boom box" which blasted the Tiny Tim hit song, Tip-Toe Through the Tulips. ^{[citation needed]}
Had a cornerman called " Harry The Hippie ". ^{[citation needed]}
Stood about 5 feet 5 inches. and weighed a pudgy 150 pounds.
Wore extremely long boxing trunks.
Never won a pro fight.
Was led to the ring by two "Hippie" girls in sun-dresses, who threw tulips to the fans. ^{[citation needed]}
