I'm very proud of my BUREAUCRAT title, added to my original BOXREC EDITOR title and of having this special page of my own.
My first idea with this page is to explain my descriptions to my photo uploads. I call them all "scrapbook" because I have no idea of how many photos of boxers I got in my scrap collection.
I started to collect boxing photos almost 50 years ago. From all the sport & boxing magazines I purchased, I used to cut out the pictures and store them in a scrapbook, wich I edited and restored, edited and restored, over and over again...
This kept going on until the late 70's when I finally realized that it was not such a good idea to damage the magazines anymore. The idea of possible values came to all the new magazines rescue, so I kept them intact and started to x-copy the photos for the collection.
Just a few years ago I discovered that scanners was my ideal tool, so the pictures are still there and the magazines are fresh and mint.
Discovering the net auctions next, I started to chase the old damaged goods and by now I recaptured many of the magazines I used to destroy. However, the condition of the mags are various, as the shape of the pictures inside.
That's why I categorize them all as scrapbook goods, whether they are loose peaces of paper, kept in trunks and bags, or still in the magazine.
This WIKI project represents an all time dream come true, somewhere I can present my photos and look at them from other parts of this world.
