The goal is to generate traffic, and tie the stuff together somehow, and hopefully bring in new users through curiosity. I don't think we should be putting the knockdown and pro debut info that is being put in by editors like Blue, that stuff is so basic it's pointless to group it. Just anything beyond that maybe. Somebody did the Dominick Guinn-Audley Harrison fight on Friday, that was kind of what I was hoping for.

I'm hoping somebody sees these things and gets inspired to contribute. As you know searching for these reports is difficult, and you almost have to know what you're doing to find them from the encyclopedia.--Matt Tegen 22:55, 16 Apr 2006 (CDT)

I used the bullet format only when there was a listing of factoids, like referee, weights, title, judges, etc. When there was a narrative about the fight itself, I left that intact as it was. See the Guinn-Harrison fight, for example. --Ric 10:32, 12 Jun 2006 (CDT)

Joe Cortez

I think the simplest, and better, solution would be to create a page entitled Joe Cortez (Referee). --Ric 11:29, 26 July 2006 (CDT)

I think the referee should get the page. Joe Cortez the boxer is really obscure. The vast majority of people searching for Joe Cortez will be looking for the referee, and that's what they should find when they type the name in.--Matt Tegen 15:04, 26 July 2006 (CDT)

Go with Matt's suggestion. --Ric 15:55, 26 July 2006 (CDT)

There is no reason to switch from wiki language for bolding to html for bolding.--Matt Tegen 14:23, 29 March 2007 (CDT)

Juarez vs. Diaz

Curious as to why you renamed this page? Brett 16:25, 6 January 2008 (CST)

I renamed the page because it is my understanding that quotes are not acceptable in page names. The only change I made was going from Rocky Juarez vs. Antonio "Chelo" Diaz to Rocky Juarez vs. Antonio Diaz.--Rowdytimothy 16:38, 6 January 2008 (CST)

Bill Bangert

Please enter his name on the 2011 list. --Bert July 12, 2011
