Insert Boxer Code

Ted, you are creating new boxer pages incorrectly. When creating a boxer page, first go to the BoxRec career record, then click on the blue book "biography" icon. That will bring you to a (usually) empty wiki page here. Then remember to add the "boxer code" at the very top of the page. The boxer code is his global ID number contained within "boxer" code tags, like this: <boxer>12345</boxer>

The boxer code will automatically insert the name of the boxer, and the other bio stats from his BoxRec career record page. You can then add other text and images. You can get other instructions and help here. --Ric 14:35, 28 October 2007 (CDT)

Insert Boxer Code (2nd notice)

You are still not inserting the boxer code. Please follow the instructions that Ric has stated above. The information you are typing in will automatically be displayed by inserting the boxer code. Every boxer page you create has to be corrected, so please do them correctly.--Rowdytimothy 17:55, 3 November 2007 (CDT)

Adding boxers to Jack Turners page

When adding boxers, go to BoxRec and find them, then click on the close booked and then add the boxer code for them (e.g., <boxer>434252</boxer>. Then move the page to the correct title. Don't add them as a new page, that is not linked to the record.--Matt Tegen 14:21, 16 November 2007 (CST)
