Ross, Canzoneri, Jenkins

I highly doubt he fought those three men in high profiles bouts, the facts on the Ross bout just don't check out since he only fought Izzy Jannazzo at the Garden that year, and I doubt your father is confused with Jannazzo. Could he have fought them under aliases, I guess you would have to do further research. Sorry if I offended you, but when I read the piece it seemed like a joke, as I consider myself a historian and nothing I was reading made logical sense. I'm not doubting other bouts he had, I just highly doubt that he fought the above mentioned men.--Matt Tegen 10:34, 20 October 2006 (CDT)

The article was from Stars and Stripes News, 1944. I have a copy of it with a photo of my dad hitting the heavy bag. I honestly don't know the authenticity of the article, but it sure reads rather factual. Can I e-mail it to you to get a further opinion. Also I was wondering, is there a way to add a .jpg photo of my dad to his biography page. Thanks for the appology, I wasn't offended. Just curious. I know those other guys are Hall Of Famers, and my dad was a contender in lower ranks. He died when I was just three, so anything I can find out about him would be great for me and his grandkids. Regarding your question about an alleged bout between Andy Anderson and Young Maxie Rosenbloom, the answer is yes. We do count as reliable bouts mentioned in The Ring magazine. Can you scan the article and e-mail it to me at [email protected]? --Ric 00:45, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
