- Both fighters kept their hands up, trading jabs. Tokarev was a bit more aggressive while Cora countered.
- After three close rounds, the fight opened up in round 4 when Cora was dropped by a right. Cora fought back well after Tokarev seemed to punch himself out, but Tokarev again had Cora hurt with a right hand. As Cora covered up, the referee stopped the fight.
