Vedat Saritag is studying for a Bachelor of Engineering when he´s not using his skills to fight opponents in the ring. His initials „VS“ are fitting with his strength to overcome all odds in and outside the ring.

Vedat was born in Turkey. He is the oldest of 3 brothers. He and his mother followed his father to Germany, when he was 9 years old. Vedat started boxing with 16 as a way to stay out of trouble. He skipped the juniors and started straight competing against seniors. While he began his fighting career only at the age of 18, he was still successful. In 85 amateur fights he won many regional titles and international contests. After a year in the boxing Bundesliga he turned professional. Vedat had his debut with a first-round knock-out. In his second bout he faced an experienced fighter. In a really tough fight he reached a draw. In 2018 he came back with a second-round TKO. The same year he had the chance fighting in his backyard for the first time to show a win in the light heavyweight division.
