Two-time world bantamweight king Veeraphol Sahaprom (61-3-2, 43 KOs) impressively scored a third round KO over Kentaro Nakayama (10-2-1, 5 KOs) in a non-title bout on Friday at Tupatemi Airforce Central Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Veerapol, currently ranked #1 by WBC, excitingly exchanged punches with the Japanese fighter in a close first two rounds. But in round three, during toe-to-toe action, the experienced Thai fighter landed a "key punch" left uppercut to Nakayama's jaw which flattened the Japanese for a full ten count at 1:45.
