"Thailand's OPBF bantamweight champion Venice Borkorsor Tuesday night punched his way to a 9th round TKO victory over blood-smeared challenger Bok Soo Hwan of South Korea in a scheduled 12 round title bout. The fight, Venice's first defense of the crown, was stopped in the 50th second of round nine by the referee on the ring doctor's advice. The Korean took a left uppercut on his right eyebrow and bled profusely from the cut which took eight stitches to repair." -Associated Press
