"Victor Galindez' stunning victory over Len 'Stinger' Hutchins capped a very exciting month in boxing. The bout was a brawl from the opening round. In the 4th stanza Galindez suffered a cut over his right eye, the result of a butt. He swarmed all over Hutchins from that moment on, winning every round through the final 12th. Galindez had Hutchins down in the 1st round, and also had him so badly battered the referee gave Len a standing eight-count in the 12th. After taking a horrible pounding in the 12th, Hutchins was unable to come out for the 13th." -International Boxing, April 1975 issue
