Undefeated Bosnian/Austrian middleweight Vid Stilija, 1 day short of his 27 th birthday, was brought in to test hardpunching Norwegian Roy Askvold ( 8- 2-0 ). The visitor proved to be a hard puncher himself, but the stocky Askvold got under his long arms and fought hard on the inside. It was an even fight, sometimes marred by wrestling. Stilija tried hard for a knockout in the 7th and shook Askvold a couple of times. Askvold fought back in the last and 8th, securing a draw.
A crowd of 2000 attended Nordstrandhallen.
