• In the February 1969 issue of The Ring Magazine, writer John Ort wrote, " Milwaukee light heavyweight Vidal Flores has the most children of any boxer. His wife just gave birth to their 10th child." (Page 29). According to his obituary the count would eventually stop at 14 children: eight sons and six daughters.
