With pro boxing bancrupt in Norway, Rolf Martinsen travelled to Sweden to face Werner Vasen. The fight was even until the 5th when a left hook to the body from Vasen nearly knocked Martinsen down. From then on, the Norwegian was only intent on surviving. This was to be Martinsens last fight.
