Helmer O. (Whitey) Domstad was a boxing referee and judge for the Washington State Athletic Commission between the 1940s and 1970s. Domstad had been a Navy boxing champion before becoming a official, based out of the Naval town of Bremerton, Washington. During the 1960s, Domstad was the mayor of Bremerton.
