Wild Bill Hanrahan

He was scheduled to meet Harry Peppers in Chicago on April 12, but took ill suddenly with a temperature of 104 and was sent straight to hospital where pneumonia was diagnosed as his temperature climbed to 107. He passed away at 5:45AM April 18. 1902 at County Hospital. He was said to be about 22 years old.

Obituary in the Evansville Courier described Hanrahan as "noisy, jovial, and good-hearted." He was said to be fond of "late hours and merry company."
