Willie Stallings, boxing under the name of Willie Starling, won two New York Golden Gloves Championships. Stallings won both the 1975 175lb Sub-Novice Championship and was declared co-champion with his relative John Davis in the 1976 175lb Open division. Stallings trained at the Time Out Club in Hempstead, Long Island, New York. His trainer at the Time Out Club was Jo Jo Moore. Stallings older brother is Heavyweight Bob Stallings who holds a win over Earnie Shavers.
