According to the Bremerton, Washington, Daily News Searchlight newspaper, in an article leading up to the Doc Snell's one and only Bremerton bout (June 3, 1932, vs. Billy Wells), there were some three boxers named Young Doc Snell fighting in the area at the time. This one, apparently a feather, is to be distinguished from the well-known Young Doc Snell (Lou Hastings) bantam of Tacoma, WA.
