  • The crowd at Wembley Stadium was estimated at 45,000, which was said to be the largest crowd ever to see a boxing contest in England.
  • So impressed were they by Stribling's performance, the London Daily Express stated in their paper, "Stribling should now finish his ring life as acknowledged heavyweight champion."
