Retired in January of 2004 with a perfect record of 10 - 0 after winning a tough 10 round decision over Patrick Coleman for the Illinois State Championship . Pireh trained at Chicago's famous Windy City Gym by Sam Colona. Pireh turned professional after only 2 amature fights at the age of 18. Pireh had gained his experience from gym wars with fighters such as "King" David Estrada, David Diaz, Branco Mckart, Vernon Forrest, Angel Manfredy, Corey Spinks and many other notable professional boxers. Pireh was also known at the Windy City Gym as "Crazy" Eddie, because of his aggressive style and willingness to absorb punishment while sparring with the boxers mentioned above since Pireh was only 15 years of age.
