Cuban Yunieski Gonzalez remained unbeaten with a devastating eighth-round knockout of Rowland Bryant in the main event of a card held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
A left hook one minute into the eighth put Rowland on the defensive and a big right hand at 1:07 sent him down in a heap with awkwardly bent legs and out cold. The referee waved an end to the bout without beginning a count.
