Raymond 'Zip' Haag, 21, was one of three railroad employees who were killed when a freight train crashed through a stone wall at Reading's Front and Court Streets. Also a succesfull football and baseball player, Haag had started his professional boxing career in 1916. A stoppage loss to Larry Hansen would be his last fight.
