Summary
Marali had no trouble winning against Lombardo. He stunned Lombardo in the first minute and dropped him with a left hook to the jaw for a count just before the bell in the second round. Lombardo suffered a broken nose and was very slow out of his corner for the start of the third round. Marali wasted little time as he stormed out at the beginning of the third round and sent Lombardo down to his knees with a chopping right hand to the side of the head, where he was counted out by referee Darryl Ribbink at 42 seconds into the round.
