"Zora Folley, overly cautious despite a 30 lb. weight advantage, scored a unanimous 10 round decision over young Bob Foster in a 10 round bout last night. Folley, ranked No. 2 among heavyweight contenders by the WBA, was told by referee Herman Dutriex to "mix it up" twice during the boring fight. The 26 year old Foster of Washington, D.C., took the early rounds as he kept jabbing with his left, occasionally getting through Folley's rigid defense. The veteran Folley, 33, who hopes for a heavyweight title shot, finally forgot his caution in the final round and had the lighter Foster staggering when the bell rang." -Associated Press
