"Zora Folley displayed great boxing skill in beating George Chuvalo, who had a string of six victories broken. Folley, whose left hand was in Chuvalo's face much of the time, counter-punched well, too. Chuvalo, who had a 12 pound advantage at 212, pressed the fight but couldn't land the combinations. The wild-swinging Canadian was at his best in close, but had a hard time getting there as Folley scored repeatedly with left jabs." -Associated Press

- Unofficial UPI scorecard - 48-42 Folley
