"Zora Folley, Chandler, Ariz., regarded for more than a year as one of the top heavyweight prospects in the West, won a unanimous decision from Roger Rischer, Oakland, Calif., last night, but it was to the tune of dissatisfaction among the 1,500 spectators. Folley, who now claims the southwestern heavyweight title, pressed what little action there was in the bout. But there wasn't much, and the fans let their protests be known by booing during and after the 12 round affair. Folley had Rischer against the ropes often during the bout, but wasn't able to unload a punch that would have ended the bout early." -United Press
