Klitschko began to land near the end of the opening round and hurt Speight in the final seconds.

A Klitscko flurry sent Speight to the canvas early in the second round. A right to the chin put him down again about a minute later. Another flurry from Klitschko floored Speight for the third and final time at the 1:54 mark, and the referee stopped the fight without a count.
