No longer go to the gym. No longer have the bag hanging in garage either. Torn both rotator cuffs, so shoulders don't appreciate the jarring of bag work. My new exercise is cycling nowadays. Enter both mountain bike and road biking enduro/sportive type events. Probably fitter now at 40 than i have ...

Yeh, Duke makes too many mistakes - one fight last weekend he kept going on about how this was an 8 round fight (it was 10)Scottrf wrote:Not a Duke McKenzie fan. Made a few mistakes last time, and made some other silly comments. I'm not too aware of who Ricardo is.

Shame he'll be nearly forty by the time he#s out
Didnt realise he had bi-polar, nor that hes studied for two degrees whist banged up.

Re: Could Haye ever beat Wlad, if so, how?
Throughout the buildup to this fight, and still now people are saying 'Haye is faster'. The way I see it is that Hayes hands may well be quicker, but when they have to fight each other, and one of them only has to push hi arm out, yet the other has to push his arm out and move his whole body forward...

Back to the original topic, take my comments with a pinch of salt and free feel to tell me I'm talking out of my arse, as I haven't yet had chance to read said article, but general opinion here seems to be that it focused heavily on the family stuff and how that motivates him - but really, how is th...

Right and Naz's bravado was mostly accompanied with huge grins - it was genuinely entertaining and most times funny to watch.
All that comes to mind when you hear someone like DeGale speak is words like miserable and bitter.

Re: Could Sky Take Over Uk Boxing mini UFC style?
But I do believe that company for company, by which I mean the business end, they are not dissimilar in that both, in their different eras, managed to capture the target audience that has always eluded boxing — and I should point out that I'm not doing a 'boxing vs UFC' thing here, as I'm sure you ...

Re: Could Sky Take Over Uk Boxing mini UFC style?
Glyn Whilst I appreciate what you're saying, I'm not sure comparisons to WWF/WWE are valid. One is a legitimate sport, the other is entertainment. Fighters have very different motivations. You won't get ex / retired UFC fighters creating their own rival promotions, and if they did the fighters in it...

No it isnt. I think tonights prizefighter was the best ever. I thought he did a good job. Objective when it came Witter's first fight. Yeah he gained massive respect from me when he said he wasn't impressed with Witters performance. He was being totally objective about the situation but doing it with respect. Colin Hart can be objective also but he always ha...
