when has bernard ever been battered for 12 rounds? he's still got his great defence. calzaghe will be throwing and missing, if he wins he wins purely on volume, and that volume has to negate bernard's counters.MightyWarrior wrote:Can't see Hopkins having any chance in this fight, Joe will batter that ugly mug for 12 long rounds. In fact Bernie might end up better looking than when he went in.
I think that's right on the money. This is in no way going to be the walk in the park some people think it's going to be.Riddick Blowe wrote:when has bernard ever been battered for 12 rounds? he's still got his great defence. calzaghe will be throwing and missing, if he wins he wins purely on volume, and that volume has to negate bernard's counters.MightyWarrior wrote:Can't see Hopkins having any chance in this fight, Joe will batter that ugly mug for 12 long rounds. Well never TBH, BHop has always been far too cautious to take risks in a fight he looks like losing. I'd like to see Joe put on a performance like that, but I guess BH will fiddle his way to a points defeat, and not take too many punches.Riddick Blowe wrote:when has bernard ever been battered for 12 rounds? he's still got his great defence. calzaghe will be throwing and missing, if he wins he wins purely on volume, and that volume has to negate bernard's counters.MightyWarrior wrote:Can't see Hopkins having any chance in this fight, Joe will batter that ugly mug for 12 long rounds. He's not winning though - he can't hurt Calzaghe and he's not outworking him either.
