Eh??jamesmcdonnell wrote:First heavyweight title fight that has excited me since Klitchsko v Williams.
Should Wlad prevail here, he cements his claim as top dog, but there's still other fights that need to be made.
Indeed..jamesmcdonnell wrote:Klitchsko needs to unify all the beans to be official top dog, but this fight will certainly help.
I don't think he was scared of Byrd, it was more a tactic to wear down the much smaller man.Max Molyneux wrote:Sultans getting KO'ed early. No HW champ should be worried about the current Holyfield coming forward.
Klitschko ain't no top dog either. He just looks strong against weaker HW's. No top dog would of excessively hold onto Chris Byrd who can't crack an egg.

You guys are obsessed with big black yanks, the white east europeans have taken over, all the US olympians etc destroyed. Get over it.
Every time Byrd got close, Wlad held him like small child yet only Ruiz got criticised for this and Ruiz has stopped the excessive holding lately. I was talking about before the KO.prime wrote:He didnt hold on to byrd, he knocked him clean out!! manuel steward says Klitschko is beter than Lewis and he trained both, Theres some very good heavyweights like povetkin and the klitschkos etc who would be champs in ANY era, your big hero Lewis retired rather than get pasted by Vitali. It was softcore erotica, the Klitschko's look very erotic, have you seen them pose naked together!oliverfennell wrote:I don't think he was scared of Byrd, it was more a tactic to wear down the much smaller man.Max Molyneux wrote:Sultans getting KO'ed early. My paramour? You retards see someone agree with some points on his fighters or him and you accuse anyone of being a FW cheerleader. But knowing It;s you, you become a sissie when someone doubts someone you think highly of.Autobarn wrote:Max, even your paramour allegedly allegedly thinks Povetkin is the bees knees. Check out his recent column.
Povetkin is hardly "overrated". He is small for a heavyweight which is the only knock against him, given that the massive Wlad is champion (of the IBF at least).
Povetkin has developed in a far more satisfying way than anyone else who's 15-0 right now. He's dealing with different things and improving with every fight - especially after that spirited affair with Chambers. Chambers was tricky and a quality boxer, and Povetkin's combination of sheer drive and nice skills made sure he was the winner.
I've seen prime Evander Holyfield struggle plenty before he won the heavyweight titles from Buster Douglas. Alex Stewart and Adilson Rodriquez couldn't miss his noggin, yet Holyfield wound up a memorable champion and went competitive with quality giants Lewis and Bowe.
Reckon Povetkin will keep getting better and better and be the main champ after he meets the winner of the unification(s).
