The WBC con more sanctioning fees

Post by Old bones Ian »

Tonights big fight between Pavlik and Taylor, although the fight is at a catchweight 166lbs, the WBC have said they will santion the fight, and award the winner with a medal.

So both boxers have to pay a fee, why would they stand for this?
I really don't understand it.

Its just a case of the WBC trying to cash in on a big fight

£10,000 per fight from each boxer. not a bad nights work.

bung in a couple of ringside seats, and free flights of course.
