slapsie maxie always makes me smile as well, especially when you check the record, its almost unbelievable to think he actually has that few stoppages.
who would call themselves "Half Man" and expect people not to laugh is what I want to know. "Brown Bomber" take out of context sounds like something conceived after heavy dinner.

Ohhhh! Didn't get the connotation until I dropped the nickname. When did he fight? Another cool one I recall was that super-bantam from Argentina named Pedro Decima, whom they called 'The Decimator'. Not too bad at all.
