UK-based boxers would do well to go with Warren. He's tried, tested and if you do have real potential you can only do well. I think it's a shame Calzaghe is looking to switch. Hope he's looked into/checked the figures properly and hasn't turned from Welsh dragon into green-eyed monster just for sake of last pay day.
I don't think Warren's to blame for Calzaghe's lack of big fights until his the flourish in his career. Even Calzaghe says in his book that it was only his dad who got him to fight Lacy. He's a home fighter Joe. Nothing wrong with that and as champion he has the right to ask challengers to beat him at a site of his choosing. Makes me laugh these Americans saying 'you've got to come here to beat me'. Well no shit, sherlock. How many times did De La Hoya or Jones Jnr fight outside America? Think I've rambled a bit here.
