Parrish was terrible, 3 point deductions from Danny and they were alll totally wrong and what the feck was Jim Watt watching giving J mac last 2 rounds???
Glad Danny won though, not a good performance but apart from 1st and 5th, i think he won every other round
If Parris had warned Williams about the low blows throughout the fight then a point has to be deducted - we were not privy to what the guy said. If a gumshield comes out once, twice or 3 times (is that thrice) then it is imcumbent on the ref to apply a rule - thus another point deducted. The other point deduction was just plain stupid IMO - a harsh warning would have been enough.
The holding from McDermott is par for the course for HWs. Being on the back foot delivering clean but ineffective shots shouldn't discount his efforts either. I am in more agreement with the commentary team than some of the shite on here tbh.

jim watt is looking at the reply of not a single low blow and says 'this is clumsy from williams'
those commentators were wankrs
the ref was a tit who should retire
danny survives another case of corruption and survives
go danny somebody up there likes him
There are many down here that like him also.
It doesn't detract from the job that the ref has to do.
Danny has strayed low below the border many times in fights and his elbow/forearm in the face when close and pushing off appears unnoteworthy too. He's no angel. But interpret fights any way they grab you.
Dave Parris was a disgrace but not as bad as Sky commentators making trying it out make out it was Dagenham's answer to The Rumble in the Jungle. I thought the fight was rubbish.
I think any British heavyweight fight that doesn't end early is generally very bad.
Apart from an immediate rematch, you'd think there would be nothing for McDermott after fighting like that. He would have to go on the German tour so that Easrern European heavyweights use him as a stepping stone.
I don't see what grounds there are for a rematch. It was a crap fight and Danny won at least 8 rounds.
If it wasn't for Sky's dire commentary and the ref losing the plot there would be no arguments
