What happens now? Well I think a no good bum will fill the place and audley will then wait 7 months for his next fight.

But would you pay to see it because I go to the fights a lot & I'm buggered if I would

Now there's a guy people would actually root for Audley against!boxrec wrote:I thought the fight was still going ahead... oh well, any fight would do now. Audley just needs to fight someone like Paul King, just to get a win at least.

Is Harrison still fighting on this bill?
Re: Audley bout rescheduled!
sprott fought williams for the title with about 2 days notice while he was on holiday in barbados and weighed nearly 18 stone as opposed to his best fighting weight of about 16st 4. i guess if the money is right, a sub 18 stone sprott would take the fight with a couple of weeks notice no problem, but, audley is naturally cautious about any opponent, imagine him in the ring against someone who has previously laid him out.jameswilson wrote:We will see. It was my immediate thought I have to say. Not being an expert on the game tho I'm not sure Sprott would take it on just over 3 weeks notice tho.oliverfennell wrote:Audley-Sprott 2 would be a more-than acceptable alternative, and I suspect Sprott would accept it.
i remember audleys comment after the fight... 'i thought i was ok to carry on but the referee thought otherwise' ..... jesus, audley was on the canvas with his leg twitching for about 30 secs after being clocked. that has to be one of the most elating KO's i have ever seen.
god i love this sport !!!!!!!!
Re: Audley bout rescheduled!
Audley seems a nice enough guy but he is a self-made man and worships his creator.
I think he will go down in the folklore of boxing, having entered prize fighting with the ultimate seal of approval : 'The Olympic gold medal at Heavyweight', he is now rooting around for a fight with the winner of a friday night knockout tournament.
He is richer than any of us i imagine, but i do give him sympathy, especially with his recent personal issues which I wouldn't wish on anyone.
Maybe he will have a fairytale ending and if so, great.
However i get the feeling he will hang them up sooner rather than later.

Re: Audley bout rescheduled!
who knows whats left
remember auds had the stinker against williams then came back and ripped danny to pieces
maybe if he lets rip on sprotty ???
its doubtful
his ankles are too skinny ...ive always said this
howver .... at 6ft 6 and with the kind of footwork he has..auds can stand back and throw bombs like the way the klits fight..the height advantage and mobility is there.
ultimately we seem to be left with the kind of feeling when bugner lost to the likes of little Marvis F
it shouldnt happen..its against the laws of physics

I haven't done anything on the site for a while now. I was being sarcastic, actually - anybody who's used the forum therre will know the fans are usually talking about the next opponent weeks before it's officially announced via the site.Captain Hook wrote::)oliverfennell wrote:You could always look on audleyharrison.com - always first with the news.
