Britains must underrated active boxer ??
Re: Britains must underrated active boxer ??
Dean Francis.
He destroyed David Starie, yet Starie went the distance against 2 Super Middleweight legends (Ottke and Calzaghe) and arguably should have got the decision against one of them (Ottke).
Yes Deano isn't the fighter he once was (due to his shoulder problems) but he is still capable of taking out top competition on a good night. He remains a very dangerous opponent for anyone.

Re: Britains must underrated active boxer ??
Colin Lynes, Jamie Moore, and I agree Napa is underrated. Tidy little fighter, great defence, worked hard.
Re: Britains must underrated active boxer ??
what about martin lindsay going on his last fight he must be in with a shout
Re: Britains must underrated active boxer ??
i agree with ian napa hes got the skills to compete at top level but unfortunately not the punch to command respect
Dean Francis was a real force before but clearly his injury has put an end to his world title aspirations. He struggled with tony oakey whos tough but limited.
no one can deny that hatton is genuine world class and finally carl froch is the most OVERATED fighter in this country.he is sloppy, defensively inept and has a poor workrate. He will get beaten when he fights for a version of the world title

Agree with all but the "he'll be beaten" part.caffrey wrote: no one can deny that hatton is genuine world class and finally carl froch is the most OVERATED fighter in this country.he is sloppy, defensively inept and has a poor workrate. He will get beaten when he fights for a version of the world title
I think that he will win the title because the division is so devoid of world class ability.
Re: Britains must underrated active boxer ??
im sure the following would beat froch.nothing personal i just think hes grossly overated

I said Froch vs Lacy would be a good close fight and got slated by somebody on another thread for it, they said Froch was to skillful and powerful for a one dimensional Lacy
Re: Britains must underrated active boxer ??
I think Froch would give all of these guys a rough time & at least we know he certainly wouldn't be avoiding anybody. He has made it clear that he will be willing to face all comers.caffrey wrote:im sure the following would beat froch.nothing personal i just think hes grossly overated

Re: Britains must underrated active boxer ??
im sure froch would give the boxers listed above a tough time.Hopefully when he fights someone who is among the best in the division he has the ability to change my views about him.
The fact that he claimed to be the best athlete in great britain and would beat calzaghe by KO has made me expect more than what he has delivered so far againsts suspect opposition.
