I'm very hopeful about Haye, but I reckon the phrase "a bridge too far" might apply in this case.Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:No signs Vitali having chin probs but if the right shot lands with his chin up in the air hes going down, you just can't lay your chin out to dry like that. He relies on better speed, reactions, and big reach/height advantages. But hes breaking all the rules and if someone throws the right fast enough with his chin up in the air hes going down. His legs looked pretty weak to me last night too.Autobarn wrote:Vitali certainly does have low hands. But I'm not so sure Haye knocking him out would be so straightforward. Even though Haye has blasted out some tall, world class fighters (Macca 6'4, Gurov 6'5) at cruiser.
Also, is there any sign that Vitali has chin problems?
Haye does tend to reach in himself, when his feet aren't always in position. And while he has speed and athleticism to get away with this, we don't know how the extra weight will hinder him. Obviously Vitali picked the perfect fight to look good last night, but I'm no sure a former cruiserweight - no matter how good he is - is enough for this task. I hope I'm wrong.
I'm not sure Vitali is going to be around too long anyhow.
