The Big fight Pacquiao/Marquez cover is the best I've seen in a long time.
So many previews there's no room for Erdei v Garay bill in Germany tonight.
What do people think of their American writer, Jim Brady?
Great cover on Boxing News
Re: Great cover on Boxing News
Brady is an ok writer, nothing special. I recently bought his book "Boxing Confidential" which if you read the blurb on the back states that its " the hardest hitting expose of boxing ever written" its hardly that, its merely a regurgitation of all the scandals, fixes, bribes, rating scandals etc dating from the 1920s to the present day. very little original work and nothing new. waste of money really wouldnt recommend itMightyWarrior wrote:The Big fight Pacquiao/Marquez cover is the best I've seen in a long time.

Yeah agreed. I steered clear of that book as I find even a paragraph of his writing hard enough going, let alone a whole novel.neil r wrote:Brady is an ok writer, nothing special. Brady is possibly the worst boxing writer I have ever read, matched only by Kellerman or Steve Farhood.neil r wrote:Brady is an ok writer, nothing special. He just fills his reports with lame and unfunny non-sequiturs and 'jokes' - I mean what in god's name was all that stuff about cannibals in the Masoe-Ashira write up???????
