Napa result spoiler
OK I cant see a thread on this, and the result doesnt seem to have been discussed yet.
Napa won an MD 1114-114, 114-113, 114-113
Did he get a home decision?

Re: Napa result spoiler
IMO the knock down decided the fight. Well done Napa
Re: Napa result spoiler
I've not seen the fight yet. And have now ruined it for myself.
But did Napa put the Belgian on his arse?
Re: Napa result spoiler
It was a body punch from Napa.Delayed reaction.
Re: Update from London Card?
Napa won on points. Earl Got TKO'd in the 1st and Thompson won on points.
Re: Update from London Card?
Thx for the update! Looks like Earl is completely shot.
Re: Update from London Card?
Pro debut for heavyweight Larry Olubamiwo tonight aswell. Won by KO in the 1st, very muscular and i think he stands at 6"8 BIG lad. Also who said journeymen never win, Dave Ingleby now 6-22-1 beat Dave Howe now 1-1 by KO in the 1st.
Re: Napa result spoiler
Now it wasn't a homer at all. It was close throughout, but the right man won.
Ballone won the first two rounds clearly and was looking good 'til he got cut in the 5th. It semed to unsettle him and Napa won the next few including a 10-8 (IMO). Napa seemed to be nicking close rounds and looked to have it sewn up after getting a 10-8 knockdown in the 10th. However, Ballone showed good heart to win the last two and make it very nervous, but FWIW me and Jim Watt had it by two. him 115-113, me 114-112.

Re: Update from London Card?
David is fine and will learn from this and be stronger for it.
All our thoughts should be with Gilbert and his family, we are all praying he will be ok.

Was Gilbert Eastman hurt? Is that why the fight wasn't shown?loopylou wrote:All our thoughts should be with Gilbert and his family, we are all praying he will be ok.

From BBN
After being stopped in the last second of his eight rounder with Sam Webb, Gilbert Eastman was rushed to hospital it was found that his neck was broken in three places and he also has a blod clot on his brain, he was being operated on as I left the show.

Re: Update from London Card?
Could Howe go back to the amateurs? isn't it allowed now if you've had 3 or less pro fights
Re: Update from London Card?
What worried me last night, there was no thought. He is an intelligent Kid, who didnt show any. You are as good as your last Fight, so He is useless, I dont think so
Re: Update from London Card?
Ian, He couldnt get Fights, ask Carl Baker, Martin Rogan how they rate Him. He didnt turn up last night, if it means being the opponent to get work it doesnt worry me. Its back in the gym and keep working
Re: Update from London Card?
Jack, thanks for that, sensable points and opinion.

Re: Napa result spoiler
I really enjoyed this fight, i had'nt seen much of Napa as ive only just got sky, he's like a pocket sized Mayweather in some respects, it was a close fight but the scoring was right IMO.
