heh, you were proved right though. I find in a lot if fights I can see strong arguments either way, not many where I think absolutely that I am convinced one party will win, and well-thought our arguments on sites like this often give me pause to consider my opinion. often leads to a sterrible fence-sitting habit sadly

someone on here made the good point before the fight that as Lawton wasn't going to be out-sped like vs khan (and i would add, outmuscled like vs Thaxton) he would be more confident and able to produce his boxing
like i said though fair play to him he had exactly the right tactics and showed a lot of skill. if you look at the way Gethin moves it's odds-on you'll think about exploiting it and moving a lot yourself.
Martin, I am sure, will be back. many will see Lawton's move and cover tactics as the blueprint to beat him (and also I would add John Murray who's similar), some however will lack the skill or desire to do so, and we'll see him in some good fights.
