Any top 20 Cruiserweight sparks Calzaghe inside of 3 rounds, IMO.

Get real guys. What is going on in the world?

David Haye would knock out JC in a round. Joe is not a 14 stone fighter.

the leap from Super middle to Light heavy is not much, from light heavy to cruiser is a whole different story.

Calzaghe has no power even at Super middle, imagine what he would be like at cruiser weight.

Will never and should never happen.

Eer, Haye's not the cruiserweight champ anymore. Haye has a heavyweight punch so that's not realistic IMO.

This Thursday's Cunningham v Adamek is for the #1 status at the weight.

Cunningham - can't crack an egg. Adamek - blown up light heavy...

Wouldn't Calzaghe winning a 3rd world title as acknowledged by the Americans not put him up there with the legends?

IMO JC would be awesome at "light-cruiser" . Hey come on you know the boxing authorities will create this division sooner or later !!!!
JC vs ENZO MAC at light-cruiser????
Oh and THEN David Haye v JC at "super-cruiser" !!!!
James Toney won a version of the super cruiserweight title

Joe is not even big at 175, at cruiserweight he wouldn't have a cat in hells chance.

Thinking about it, Jones went to heavy...

If Calzaghe fought a small cruiser aka Jirov, then YES, it's possible.

If he fought Haye, it would be lights out in two rounds.

What about fighting a blown up light heavy a la Adamek? Adamek could well beat Cunningham this week, for the IBF and Ring belts.

I can see it. I don't think it's as far-fetched as some people are saying. Calzaghe's career has often been about cherry-picking and certainly the winner of Adamek-Cunningham would give him a good shot at winning a belt. I wouldn't make Joe a big underdog against either of those. In fact, I'd probably favour him to beat Adamek. Cunningham would be a little closer.

Cunningham/Adamek would probably be the safest options out there for Joe at 200 lbs. There are a few other guys out there that he'd badly struggle with. Just not big enough. Haye would have beheaded him at 200.

Only reson fighters look that big at the weights Is because there not naturally that weight anyway and because they dry out to make It.

Calzaghe Is superior to Pac and the true p4p No 1 so he could do Cruiser.

What a crazy post. How on earth could Calzaghe fight at CW? Ridiculous suggestion. It's easier to move up at the lower weights but you are talking about another stone / 2 stone. That is a serious amount of weight and JC wouldn't last with a decent CW. He should retire and go down as the legend that he rightly is.
