The U.S. is just a wee bit bigger than the UK. Roy Jones NEVER defended outside the USA. My point was that even though he never fought outside the U.S., he often fought in his opponent's backyard, as the U.S. is big enough to have multiple backyards. ;) If you're from the east coast and fly to Vegas or California to fight some guy from there (or even from Mexico) he's going to be the hometown favorite. When Jones fought Del Valle in New York there was a *huge* DV contingent at that fight.
