not only will Jordan and Jarvis go down on Jan. 31 st
also javonn pinkie barnes return to the ring to fight Johnny Garcia. so it should be a night of good golden gloves preview.

and Adrian Castanon is not around no more he move to Fl.

141 johnny Garcia
152 Pinkie
champs for michigan no ( ?)

it seems johnny not going to take fight now so no one in michigan at 141-152 will fight Javonn pinkie barnes untill GG
i still will be there to see the great fight between Jordan and Jarvis
My understanding is Antonio Urista is willing to box him. They boxed during the 2008 West MI GG. I'm sure Leandre White is willing to box him again too. I don't think Johnny Garcia should move up a weight class to box Pinkie.

They are still looking for an opponent for Ernie Garza.

pinkie fall on some black ice running so i dont think we will be seeing him today but i will still be here to watch the main event.

Pinkie didn't box. Ernie Garza and Raeese Aleem boxed each other. It was a good bout that I thought could have gone either way. Ernie got the very close decision.
Our gym did well.
Jose Gonzalez Jr. won his amateur debut at 85 pounds. Kody Gerkin won his amateur debut at 180 Novice. My son Niall lost a 2-1 split decision on the tie-breaker as the 3rd judge had it even, but gave the tie-breaker to Niall's opponent. My son Jordan won a 3-0 decision.

Roca - did you go to the show? Any thoughts?

From Houston area:
Eric Fowler - 132 lbs - PAL Champion
Mercy Manriquez - 125 lbs - runner up U.S. Future Stars
Darlington "Cheek" Agha - +201 lbs

From Dallas:
Errol Spence - 152 lbs - PAL and under 19 champ

At 106 lbs - the Texas GG will have a good battle between Houston's Daniel Ybarra and Kingsville's Oscar Cantu (under 19 champ) Whichever one wins should be a contender for the national title, but this division seems very deep with alot of young talented guys.

yea thats pretty accurate ringsidemike.but daniel should be going to nationals because oscar is fighting at 112 now.and i dont see nebody beating daniel at 106.expect joe garcia from the valley if he is still boxing?so its a fight between oscar cantu and adam lopez at 112 maybe?who do u think will win that bout?
