It's another dreadful card but Francis v Vegas should be entertaining, Vegas always comes to fight but I have a feeling Dean will get to him early, i'm still to be convinced about Cleverly

Nah, it's just that I'M sick of the hassle! (which is their intention, of course - oops, allegedly!...by the way, saying allegedly means feck all).THEBUTCH wrote:Should I have said "in my opinion" ? I don't want to get Boxrec in bother.

Back on topic....SN serve up shiit!

And a Pacman bout will have a far greater worldwide audience, and a much bigger revenue draw than Witter

Thompson has taken my quote the wrong way. He mentioned no one watching Hatton Vs Witter. What I should have said was HATTON vs WITTER was bigger than anything nelse out there for Hatton when he was being to shreds on these boards for fighting nobodies.
ALSO - I agree in parts to what you say about Hatton and the BOX OFFICE - but remember Hatton threatened to leave unless he got KT and he knew after KT if Fwank had his way it would have been mismatch after mismatch at the MEN so Fwank could get back what he had to pay KT.

SN don't have as many headliners as before but is matching Cleverly against these African imports the best way to build his fanbase or prepare him for a probably fight against Francis?
Fwank may never again have a Naz - Hatton - Calzaghe type fighter so he has to protect his 'fighters' and in turn he turns them into laughing stocks (See Hatton and Calzaghe) but as long as Fwank gets paid he could not give a toss.
How is Hatton a laughing stock ?

Witter? I am Witter!
All jokes aside...
We ALL know how hard it is to make a living these days and a fighters career is a very short one.
I just did not like the 'I do not want to give him a payday cra that hatton came out with..
As a Man who has ( like the rest of us) had to work hard for all I have ( or dont have) it does not sit well with me when someone comes out woth crap like that. Hatton does not 'owe' Witter but talk like that is wrong. Just admit you thought you would lose.
SN serve up crap!
