Looking forward to it already. Perhaps the Daily Mirror could sponsor the lining.
Mind you the 02 has reported its roof is missing.

The show is merely ok, there's a bit too much ranting from Bunce. Many of us know plenty about boxing too, without the need to shout about it. I for one rarely learn anything new from watching the show.

It's not just about preaching to the converted...it's about converting, introducing non-boxing people to fighters like Jamie Moore and Ian Napa. There will never be debates on Guzman's left hook to the body v Donaire's short right. That is never gonna happen.
Today I will be cooking a boxing connections stew...take Baby Jake at 4.11 and connect him in ten fights to The Beast from the East at 7.2.
I will be available for one-on-one boxing discussions at YH on Mar 15 at the semi-finals of the NABC championships.

The show is great - packing the number of guests and interviews that you have into one hour is pretty amazing.Buncey wrote:It's not just about preaching to the converted...it's about converting, introducing non-boxing people to fighters like Jamie Moore and Ian Napa. You have to make the most of Anthony Small's big mouth and get him in before his fight with Rhodes - you might not get a word in edgeways - hey why not, get him and Don King in and you could take the day off!

buncey also said froch v taylor was done and agreed apart from little details. he said you could book the flights.
Re: Bunceys Boxing Hour is Excellent
An action-packed jam-packed show as always yesterday!
What a top bloke Marty Rogan is, he's quite rightly having his next bout in Belfast. Rogan Vs Danny Williams would be a cracking fight as suggested by Buncey (he also put in a missing persons appeal for Danny as he's dissappeared off the map of late). Rogan reckons he struggles to leave the house now as he keeps getting mobbed.
Good to hear that Enzo (and fwank) are targetting Adamek and will be willing to travel, if necessary. Enzo seems to be another top bloke I hope he lands the BIG fights and does well.
Jamie Moore was interviewed on the phone ("Bone dry at the weight") just before his weigh-in, BIG night for Jamie tonight (Come on Mooresy!)
Cheeky Chappy BJ Saunders was in the studio, he reckons the 3 Olympians will all be out on the same bill in about 6-7 weeks time and will continue to be on the same shows, providing they're injury-free.
Glenn McCrory seems very excited about his 3 defected Cubans, especially Luis Garcia (it sounded like they had a traumatic escpae from Castros boys).
Talk of Calzaghes comeback already Vs Hopkins....... lets see what happens in Froch Vs Taylor first eh

Bringing this one back,
I believe this one could be very exellent
Anyone know the whole line up? I would like to see maloney, munroe, dunne and peters all in the studio to discuss there differences.
Maybe maloney could explain some of his outragous comments he has made on this forum and give reasons why munroe would beat dunne without bringing up martinez because i doubt not even the most ardent dunne hater would say martinez could repeat that feat.

Making outrageous comments is very much a part of a boxing promoters job.
Re: Bunceys Boxing Hour is Excellent
Maybe it is but i would still like to hear what peters has to say because all weve heard on the airwaves is maloneys side and saying how good his man is. I will give him some credit but it seems like hes content to keep fighting on friday nights on low key euro defences.Collins2000 wrote:metropol wrote:Bringing this one back,

Re: Bunceys Boxing Hour is Excellent
martinez is a banger that is all. Secondly I not sure dunne has mentioned any names yet. it would be a stupid move to fight martinez as it would be a massive step back . If munroe beat martinez i see no reason why dunne cant.search wrote:Martinez would obliterate Dunne again if they fought, no question about that. You'll notice that Dunne has no desire to give him a rematch and avenge his loss because he's well aware that theres a very good chance he'll get clobbered.metropol wrote:Bringing this one back,

Re: Bunceys Boxing Hour is Excellent
Yes, but he hasn't beat him has he. He got knocked out in a round. That is enough of a reason to fight him again just as it would be good for Khan to fight Prescott again.metropol wrote:martinez is a banger that is all. Re: Bunceys Boxing Hour is Excellent
no i live underneath the blarney stone. Of course ive seen it and because of DG have seen many more times than i wish to. To me it was obvious that dunne made the mistake of going to trade from the bell.
If they were to fight again (which imo should happen sometime) im confident with the improvments dunne has made he would win.
I dont think this will happen immediately.
