Most heavyweights are so much older, I would hope that his power might develop with age.
Well he's fighting once a months, so by the time he matures properly he might have had 100 fights.

A lot of knockdowns these days are bullshit, you get penalised if your glove just scrapes the canvas, I believe Floyd Jr. and Naz were victims of that. A knockdown should mean you are down as in on the floor.

Really? Define "down as in on the floor" in way that would allow for consisten application.

On your arse, or at the very least both gloves firmly on the canvas.

Yes, but then "on your arse" doesn't cover falling face first. Or being staggered, legs dipping and using the glove to keep you up. Or taking a knee.

Want to try again?

you only put your hand on the canvas to prevent yourself from falling to the canvas.

If a punch is hard enough to make a boxer 'touch' the floor with his glove , then i think he might be grateful for an 8 count, rather than the opposing boxer being able to follow up on the hard punch.

he has a point, i remember naz's glove touching the floor against kelly, it was ruled a kd, but it was far from it.
I think when a punch causes a boxer to touch his glove down, it is a fair KD.
