If Holyfield won again it would be bad for the sport. Having a HW champ with slurred speech does the sport no good. Chances are, if Holyfield carries on, he's gonna end up shuffling. I hope i'm wrong. The Original Hurricane wrote:It wouldn't be that good. It might raise exposure of the sport for a few fights, but at the end of the day Tyson winning the title again would make him and the promoters a few big bucks, but would also make the heavyweight division look like a joke if some old codger was beating the best the world had to offer. The old boy looks very tasty indeed.
Wouldnt it be great if he could win the title again.
It would be so good for both him and the game.
But saying that, this may be just coz I don't like Tyson. I probably wouldn't say the same if Holyfield won gold again, even though I've got as much chance of winning it as he has.
Tysons 38, articulate, refreshingly honest and can still punch. He has less mileage on the clock than most other Heavyweights and although nowhere near as good as he was years ago, I'd bet he could, with a good training camp, give every HW out there a stiff argument.
Good luck to him.
Hell, Lewis is even older than Tyson.
