Haye undoubtably has a huge punch, and he is quick. Why is this being questioned? The questions that need to be answered and will be are, can he hit Wladimir hard enough to spark him out, and can he stand up to Wlads big jab.

I believe he's one of the hardest hitting fighters in the world. He takes people out in exhilarating fashion, usually from a single shot. I have only seen five or six of David's fights and the ones I have seen have ended badly for the opposition - Mormeck, Mock, Enzo, Barrett, Gurov and Bonin. Yes, not against the highest caliber of opposition, but the way he takes them out is amazing.

And yes, what a right-hand.

I wonder about Haye's power and whether we can truly class it as monstrous, which appears to be the prevalent belief. Barratt went down a lot, but kept getting back up. Enzo Macc was and is no stranger to the canvas, Bonin seemed shocked as much as anything and wanted to carry on and Gurov was sparked the same by Dunstan years before.

Also, whilst he had Carl Thompson in trouble, he couldn't floor him. Eubank, Nelson, Ashley, Rocchigiani, Sellers, Davis and Rothmann all did.

Clearly Haye carries a hefty dig and has fast hands, but I'm not convinced his fists are the terror of the division.
