Lets say Froch makes 10 defences at Super Middle over the next few years and than retires and some of the Boxer's he beat were:
Jermain Taylor
Lucian Bute
Mikkel Kessler
Pavlik/Abraham winner
Andre Ward or Andre Dirrel
and wins over a few of these: Sakio Bika, Allan Green, Karoly Balzsay, Librado Andrade
Would those wins be better than Calzaghe's best wins at Super Middle: Kessler, Lacy, Eubanks, Robin Reid, Bika and Byron Mitchell
What do you think?
Would you Rate Froch Higher than Calzaghe if he beat.......
Re: Would you Rate Froch Higher than Calzaghe if he beat.......
Yes for me, unless someone else comes through and Froch avoids. For me, equally as important in a fighters resume is the fights he missed. With that... there aint many Froch missed, unless someone comes through.

I dont know i cant see him beating AA or Kessler but if he did i still dont think he would be better than him Calzaghe beat Hopkins who has just established himself as a top 3 p4p at the moment and he's beat most of the SM but it would be close but i dont think he would beat a few of the best SM

No because Kessler Joe beat, Pavlik BHOps beat and Taylor Pavlik beat. Maybe if he beat Dawson and Williams to add to the list

This thread wants moving to the fantasy forum...

I thought i was on eastside for a sec...

Add Chad Dawson to that and Froch is ahead of Calzaghe. Not going to happen though, he won't beat Bute or Kessler.
Re: Would you Rate Froch Higher than Calzaghe if he beat.......
The problem with this is, in reality, he has only beaten Pascal so far. Taylor is a good step, but if he wins and Taylor retires, some will start knocking that already. If he could beat an Abraham or a Pavlik or a Dawson, that would be quite impressive.

Calzaghe was so frustrating because, for one reason or another, he didn't get fights that he had every chance of winning. Froch will risk losing, and we (mostly) respect that. Possibly a bit unfair on Calzaghe there, though, since he wasn't dumb enough to take wins for granted.
In terms of pure ability in their primes, it'll always be Calzaghe out in front. But Froch could well end up being far more popular.
