Ali was never the best in the world because Mr T was his bodyguard and to be a body guard you have to be harder than the bloke you are looking after.

Hulk hogan would do Tyson.

I was asked twice by mates before the Hatton-Pac fight, "So Manny Pacquiao is a southpaw. Does that mean he holds his hands at his waist?"

Funny you should say that but when I was a kid I said to my pop that the ultimate warrior could beat mike tyson and I got a clip around the ear and was also barred from watching wrestling.

Most of my mates are idiots when it comes to boxing, I prefer to sit and watch fights on my own or with the missus who just sits their oblivious and doesn't try to be a smartarse, I remember a few years back when a load of us met up at a mates flat to watch Lewis v Klitschko and after the fight was over one of the lads piped up "so when's Lewis going to fight Bruno?" I felt embarrased for the lad and then another said "yeah it's got to be better than this mismatch" :witzend:

Never watch a fight with people who only ever know the names of Tyson, Bruno, Naz, Benn, Eubank, Lewis.

"Julio Cesar Chavez? Who's he? Any good?"

Fvck off you pudendum.

Riddick Blowe wrote:Girlfriend during Khan/Barrera round 2: Who's winning
Me: Shhhh.
Girlfriend: Ughh, thats awful, why has he got all that blood on his face. Who have you bet on
Me: Barrera. The little guy.
Me: (Thinking) I have £X,XXX on this fight, I feel like throttling her
Girlfriend: He's not doing very well
Me: Sigh

Then she actually says something that surprises me

Girlfriend: Has he won a round yet?
Me (Caught between surprise at her having a rudimentary knowledge of the scoring system and sheer disgruntlement that Barrera hadn't actually won a round and was likely going to be stopped on the cut) No.
Her: It's not looking good.

(Fight waved off)

Her: So how much did you lose?
Me: £XXX
Her: I knew it.

(Skip forward to morning after Hatton/Pac, watching news)

Her: Why didn't you bet on that instead of that silly bet where you lost £XXX?
Me, who nearly did (Thinking: Kill me now.)

Very Funny m8

Every time I watch a bout on TV with 'er indoors she ALWAYS pipes up with "What are they fighting for?" To which I look at her with a Kevin Painter 2003 World Championships-esque sneer and deadpan "Beacuse they don't like each other." To which she always tuts and goes "Shut up you tool". So I do.

I've heard this one already, and I replied with "NO, it would be a meaningless disgrace of a fight."

What do Ricky Hatton and Gary Glitter have in common?

They both got put away for trying to take down a little Filipino in the ring.
